Game of Thrones Infographic : History and Lore Timeline v1.0
It’s back! HBO’s Season 2 Premiere was last night and I’m still giddy from excitement.
So in honor of my favorite shows return, I’ve been working on a little “timeline” project trying to get a good understanding of Westeros history. It’s sort of an overview of who ruled when along with all the major events that have made what Westeros is “today”.

Also, I’m in the process of updating the character guide and it will be up sometime this week for those who follow along.
And lastly I have a little Game of Thrones related giveaway. One of my awesome clients sent me a copy of GoT on Blu-Ray and of course I already had a copy so I’m giving one copy away. Leave a comment with your favorite GoT quote or moment using a valid email addy (as that’s how I will contact you to get your mailing addy) and I will select one person at random to send this to. (restricting to US residents)
Accepting “entries” until Friday 10pm CT. And I will announce the winner on Sunday during episode 2. Good luck!

“She doesn’t need a song,” said Daeron, “she needs a strong spanking, or maybe a hard fuck. Get out of my way, Slayer.”
A Feast for Crows
Awesome! I’ve been directing everyone who is new to the books or the show to your infographics to help them acclimate and keep things straight.
Thanks! Hope they find them helpful.
My favorite moment is when Daenerys takes control of her own sexuality, stops seeing herself as a victim, and starts kicking a lot of ass and becomes a really strong female character.
“I am a Khaleesi of the Dothraki. I am the wife of the great Kahl and I carry his son inside me. The next time you raise a hand to me will be the last time you have hands.”
“That one’s yours, Snow.”
Good work, pal.
Do you intend to continue the family tree flow charts, too?
It was very usefull.
Thanks.
According to Random.org Mark Stebbins is the winner. Mark look out for an email from me
Now I go back to watching episode 12!
Hi Magda, thank your for your graet works. I love it. The time table is very helpful and the character relationship is a great idea. Thats more as a fan artwork, that must be included into a new documentary beside of the BD-Edition.
Best regards
Cersei’s comment to Ned when he reveals he knows her secret.
“When you play the game of thrones, you win or die. There is no middle ground”
GoT the best movie series that i ever watched since the beginning of season 1 , so great just continue making us exciting and happy ….
Winter is Coming.
This is too awesome! I’m clipping it!
I say this in the interests of accuracy and not being a douche (i love the infographic, must have taken quite a while) but Elia and Rhaegar marrying didn’t bring Dorne in to the Seven Kingdoms, it was done about 80 years before hand when a previous Daenerys married Maron Martell after the Blackfyre Rebellion.
New Character guide!!! — That being said, I’m very impressed with your first guide (I still keep it on-hand when re-watching the first season) and am really looking forward to anything you create for the second season as well. Beautiful work. Thank you!
There is a mistake in this chronology, the Martell no longer reign over Dorne long before Rhaegar marrying Elia. Aegon I conquered the six kingdoms in year 0 and around the year 184 Dorne knelt and joined voluntarily to the throne of iron through a covenant of marriage between King Dearon II and Princess Myriah Martell.
For me there is not just 1 or even 2 or 3 favorites. The Whole Story has been so captivating for me, I can’t seem to get enough.
Thanks, KM
